KILTS

All Bowdens kilts are carefully hand-sewn using traditional methods, made in Scotland from 13oz pure new wool. We offer a wide range of tartans, available to hire or purchase. Our hire range has been selected to offer you a varied selection of tartans to choose from, enabling you to match any colour theme you have in mind.

 

JACKETS

Bowdens stock a range of jackets and waistcoats for hire. From the traditional Prince Charlie to the contemporary grey Argyll, we can guide you towards the best option for you, depending on the event you are attending.

 

SHIRTS

Quality Edwardian or wing collar white shirts are available to hire, depending on your choice of standard tie, ruche or bow-tie.

We also have a host of shirts available in store to buy. Edwardian, standard, dress plain, dress wing or ghillie – let us advise you on the correct shirt, fit for your special occasion.

 

SPORRANS

Part of the traditional highland dress, sporrans used to be for carrying lead shot. Sporrans complete the highland look (and are useful for carrying your loose change and keys too!). Choose from dress, semi-dress or black (silver cantle/dark cantle). We also have a wide range of sporrans available to purchase, including those made with original Harris Tweed.
